Vice President

• Take ambiguous questions from the CEO and turn them into structured investigations: define the hypothesis, pull the data yourself, test it, and develop a clear narrative.
• Write your own SQL queries within the company’s data and analytics tools (Sigma and Snowflake); this is a daily, non-negotiable part of the job
• Build and maintain the reporting the CEO needs to see the business clearly: originations, decisioning, funding, delinquency/DPD, early-payoff, cash-on-cash and collection curves, cohort and vintage behavior, repeat vs. new customer performance, merchant and store performance. etc.
• Initially, focus on building a suite of portfolio risk reports (delinquency, charge-off, vintage, and cohort performance) that give the CEO a real-time view of how the book is performing
• Trace anomalies to their root causes — segment by vintage, channel, merchant, score band, and decisioning change until you can explain what moved and why
• Reconcile your numbers against what the functional teams report; when they differ, explain the delta
• Synthesize findings into a clear narrative a busy CEO can act on, backed by data he can trust

Vice President, Strategy & Analytics

Risk

• Leverage multiple and complex data sources such as Bureau information, alternative data, consumer behavior, the macro environment, and portfolio performance metrics to perform quantitative analyses, classification/decision-tree analyses and/or machine learning modeling to understand root causes and/or potential business opportunities.
• Translate data into meaningful insights, and design, implement and iterate on strategies to drive profitable business growth. Review findings with senior management, like CRO and CEO.
• Design and manage A/B tests, pilot programs, and controlled experiments to evaluate new strategies, including defining test populations, randomization logic, and success criteria.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting infrastructure to enable real-time monitoring of strategy performance across key metrics.
• Monitor our acquisition and portfolio performance related to consumer or merchant credit risk, fraud risk, lease amount, term, channel, and other important metrics across the account lifecycle.
• Monitor both internal and macroeconomic performance to define risk appetite and ensure healthy businesses under different environments.
• Partner with technology, product, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality implementation with diligent test validation. Track the performance to ensure that it meets expectations.

• Own performance reporting for our revenue teams by building and maintaining dashboards that surface funnel health, conversion trends, and rep-level performance.
• Translate business questions into clear analytical frameworks that inform decisions across the revenue org.
• Maintain and QA reporting logic, ensuring consistency and reliability across data sources.
• Serve as a source of truth for key definitions, metrics, and methodologies across the revenue org.
• Support CRM reporting and data integrity workflows.
• Document definitions, methodology, and logic so teams can self-serve with confidence.
• Learn existing analytics systems end-to-end and take progressive ownership over time, and identify opportunities to improve current models, reports, and processes.
• Partner with stakeholders across revenue teams to understand their needs before building.
