About the role

  • Part of pre-sales team executing Proof of Technology (POT) projects for enterprise customers across multiple accounts to secure technical wins.
  • Actively participate in the Proof of Technology implementation lifecycle.
  • Gain extensive knowledge of K2VIEW products and technologies and advise team members on best approaches and new features.
  • Understand design decisions to manage POTs effectively and use company best practices for project implementation.
  • Own complex POT implementation tasks and provide visibility and communicate delivery targets.
  • Mentor and guide team members and, when jointly developing with customer teams, provide day-to-day directions.
  • Work closely with Sales Engineers to ensure POT implementations meet technical success criteria.
  • Architect solutions and solve technical challenges.
  • Travel approximately 10% to customer sites (domestic and international) and maintain 3 hours overlap with Central time zone.

Requirements

  • B.SC. Information system, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of development experience.
  • Advanced design solution knowledge with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Strong Java knowledge.
  • Advanced SQL knowledge.
  • Advanced Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating system.
  • Advanced understanding of scalable, distributed system architectures.
  • 2+ years of k2view Fabric and Broadway experience.
  • 3+ years customer facing experience.
  • Experience with test data management tools – advantage.
  • Experience in execution of POCs/POTs and demos for B2B software sale.
  • Experience in data hub deployment (including microservice layers).
  • NoSQL knowledge.
  • HTML/CSS knowledge.
  • Autodidact, creative, passionate, self-starter with a can-do attitude, and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Strong technical skills, ability to learn and suggest new technologies.
  • Good communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Team player who can build strong relationships with peers and company stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel ~10% domestic and international.
  • Must have 3 hours overlap with Central time zone.
