About the role
- Supports accurate financial reporting for a services-based organization
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP
- Support audits and partner with operations and project teams
- Maintain bank relations and tax-related documents
- Prepare payroll journal entries, reports, and reconciliations
- Conduct statutory reporting and financial analysis
- Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register
- Assist in preparing audit schedules and support external audits
- Identify process improvement opportunities in accounting
- Comply with information security regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (required) (MBA or CPA preferred)
- 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in services or consulting
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including revenue recognition
- Hands-on experience with project accounting and billing cycles
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas)
- Experience with Sage systems (Workday, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar)
- Additional language skills would be advantageous
