About the role

  • Supports accurate financial reporting for a services-based organization
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP
  • Support audits and partner with operations and project teams
  • Maintain bank relations and tax-related documents
  • Prepare payroll journal entries, reports, and reconciliations
  • Conduct statutory reporting and financial analysis
  • Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register
  • Assist in preparing audit schedules and support external audits
  • Identify process improvement opportunities in accounting
  • Comply with information security regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (required) (MBA or CPA preferred)
  • 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in services or consulting
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including revenue recognition
  • Hands-on experience with project accounting and billing cycles
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas)
  • Experience with Sage systems (Workday, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar)
  • Additional language skills would be advantageous
