About the role

  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned distributors, conducting regular outreach to monitor inventory levels and ensure long-term loyalty
  • Identify and prospect new leads, reactivate dormant accounts, and execute upselling/cross-selling strategies based on purchase history
  • Assist distributors with OEM part cross-referencing and provide technical guidance on machine compatibility (e.g., voltages and sizing)
  • Educate distributors on New Product Introductions (NPI) for aftermarket floorcare parts
  • Generate bulk-order quotes, manage backorder communications, and coordinate with customer service and plant departments to ensure on-time delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience preferred
  • Proven track record in Inside Sales or Account Management
  • Industry experience in industrial floorcare, janitorial supply, or equipment parts is highly preferred
  • Ability to learn and discuss technical specifications and OEM cross-referencing
  • Expert in CRM usage and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • SAP experience is a plus
  • Strong 'hunting' and closing skills, excellent verbal/written communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
