About the role
- You monitor and interpret national and international regulatory developments relevant to mechanical engineering, automation and digital manufacturing
- You advise KTE senior management on political and regulatory trends, particularly in the areas of sustainability, product safety and innovation policy
- You build and maintain networks with political decision-makers, industry associations and standardization bodies to represent Körber’s (KTE) strategic interests
- You develop advocacy and engagement strategies, recruit advocates and position Körber (KTE) as a trusted partner in shaping the industrial future
- You produce persuasive communication formats such as position papers, white papers, stakeholder briefings and executive-level materials to explain complex regulatory and technical topics clearly
- You represent Körber externally at relevant conferences, working groups and political forums, strengthening the company’s visibility and credibility
- You work closely with Research & Development, Sustainability, Quality and Business Development to integrate regulatory insights into product and market strategies at an early stage
Requirements
- You hold a master’s degree in political science, law, engineering or a comparable field and have a strong interest in politics and innovation
- You have several years of professional experience in public affairs, regulatory strategy or corporate communications, ideally in a technology-driven or industrial environment
- You have a proven ability to translate complex technical or political issues into clear, persuasive and effective messages
- You think strategically, have strong analytical skills, and work in a hands-on, solution-oriented manner
- You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
