About the role
- You assist in the design, preparation, execution and follow-up of projects in Supply Chain Management with a focus on production planning and procurement
- As part of your role, you contribute to the creation and analysis of SCM processes and support the corresponding documentation
- You perform basic procurement-specific analyses and derive meaningful reports from them
- Based on existing materials, you create professional documentation, presentations and decision papers
- You research benchmarks and best practices for procurement and supply chain management and prepare the results in a structured manner
- You provide valuable support for projects related to digitalization and the further development of IT and controlling tools
- You actively participate in continuous improvement (CIP) projects and in SCM-related initiatives
- According to guidelines, you prepare the monthly reporting and compile relevant KPIs for controlling and optimizing SCM processes
Requirements
- You are currently enrolled in a degree program in Industrial Engineering or a related field
- You have fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
- You work systematically, independently and with a clear goal orientation
- You demonstrate responsibility and initiative, as well as a proactive approach to new topics
- You are interested in actively shaping and further developing processes and ideally have initial experience in this area
- You have strong analytical thinking skills and a high affinity for IT systems and numbers
- Ideally, you have gained some practical experience in supply chain management and are familiar with project management methods
- Confident user skills in PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, etc.) are desirable
- You already have experience in reporting and ideally have had initial exposure to SAP
- Teamwork and social skills complete your profile
