About the role
- Organize, coordinate and oversee all phases of the production process
- Plan production capacity, resources and work schedules to ensure production targets are met
- Continuously improve process efficiency and quality following Lean and Kaizen principles
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Control production costs and resources; optimize material and energy consumption
- Lead and develop the team — mentoring, training and motivating employees
- Collaborate with Quality, Logistics, Purchasing and Engineering departments to achieve operational excellence
- Implement quality standards and procedures in accordance with IATF 16949
- Provide ad-hoc solutions to complex production issues, including customer complaints, technical challenges and unforeseen situations, making rapid and effective decisions to ensure production continuity
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a comparable leadership position within production
- Solid experience with ERP systems (GoSoft advantageous) and strong MS Office skills
- Ability to motivate and lead employees
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Decisive, strong problem-solving skills and resilience
- Fluent Croatian and very good English or German, both written and spoken
