About the role

  • Create original German-language copy for areas such as movie and TV synopses and content descriptions for streaming providers.
  • Translate and transcreate copy for JustWatch’s data-driven campaigns and global outreach.
  • Write and edit copy based on our SEO analysis.
  • Research and stay informed about upcoming movie and TV releases.
  • Collaborate closely with an international copywriting team.

Requirements

  • Native German speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven copywriting and editorial experience (SEO-focused experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of and passion for movies and TV shows.
  • Self-motivated and ambitious — personal projects (e.g., an entertainment blog) are a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail, from proofreading to evaluating reliable online sources.
  • Strong communication skills, punctuality, and the ability to work efficiently remotely.
  • Prior experience in the entertainment industry (especially streaming-related) is a major plus.
