About the role
- Translates business requirements into clear and comprehensive functional specifications to support IT solution design and implementation.
- Participates in the design of operable, sustainable, and efficient system solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and system capabilities.
- Cooperates effectively with IT teams, Business Units, Project Managers, and Senior Functional Engineers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Prepares and maintains detailed documentation covering solution scope, objectives, processes, and implementation instructions.
- Plans, organizes, and executes User Acceptance Testing (manual or automated) in accordance with established guidelines, standards, and methodologies.
- Defines and maintains critical test scenarios for regression testing following production changes.
- Performs functional testing and data analysis to verify system performance against functional specifications.
- Identifies potential risks and coordinates escalation and resolution actions to safeguard delivery timelines and quality.
- Provides 2nd-level support for existing products and services, conducting troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Monitors industry trends and emerging technologies to support continuous improvement initiatives across internal systems and processes.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration or in any other related discipline.
- Experience in analysis and design of digital systems or validation process, validation frameworks or testing methodologies.
- Ability to deliver under tight and demanding deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize business requirements and identify prerequisites, dependencies, and restrictions.
- Advanced knowledge of the MS Office suite and Visio. Familiarity with the AzureDevOps tool will be considered a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, oral and written, in Greek and in English, with both technical and business audiences.
- Business acumen, understanding of the existing technology environment, with solid analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, organizational and proactive skills along with attention to detail.
- Ability to deliver high-quality results on-time, in scope and within budget and always strive for excellence.
- Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills.
- Self-motivated, flexibility and adaptability, with a results-oriented spirit and a “hands-on” mentality, accountability, and resourcefulness
- Continuous improvement mindset and good change management skills.
- Teamwork spirit & ability to communicate and collaborate efficiently with internal and external stakeholders from all hierarchical levels and functions.
