Lead and mentor junior engineers in creating new functionalities for our GHG emissions visibility product.
Design and implement systems and data models to enhance existing features and develop new ones.
Develop and maintain solutions utilizing event-driven architecture to enable scalable, real-time processing.
Integrate with third-party APIs to efficiently manage large datasets.
Work with geospatial data to deliver accurate insights.
Ensure the reliability and quality of our product through rigorous data testing.
Apply your expertise across the full software development lifecycle.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5-6 years (minimum) of experience in software engineering, ideally in a relevant domain.
Strong proficiency in Python and object-oriented design principles.
Solid experience with relational databases (standard and cloud-based) and SQL.
Familiarity with Linux-based operating systems.
Experience with event-driven architecture and asynchronous programming concepts.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Nice to have:
Experience with RESTful APIs or other web services.
Knowledge of infrastructure automation technologies like Docker.
Background in environmental sustainability or related fields.
