About the role

  • Act as a consultant and strategic partner to leadership, influencing decisions about assessment formats, required rigor, and recruitment funnel trade-offs
  • Define and raise the hiring bar with Engineering stakeholders, ensuring alignment with expectations for seniority, cultural fit, and competencies
  • Conduct interviews with candidates across different profiles and seniority levels, maintaining the cadence and quality needed to execute our Hiring Plan
  • Support pipeline management and strategy development, anticipating and identifying talent needs aligned with company goals
  • Monitor funnel metrics (SLAs, conversion rates, feedback quality, candidate experience) and propose continuous improvements
  • Co-create and evolve the design of selection processes (stages, criteria, scorecards, and decision rituals), ensuring consistency, efficiency, and alignment with business needs
  • Lead alignments with stakeholders, HRBPs, and leadership, bringing market insights, data, and recommendations to inform hiring decisions
  • Train and develop interviewers (interview techniques, bias awareness, use of scorecards, behavioral/situational questioning, evaluation consistency)
  • Build and maintain materials, guides, and rituals that support interviewer quality and autonomy
  • Participate in the development of internal initiatives to attract and engage strategic talent in the market

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of recruiting experience, with exposure to technology companies or startups
  • Experience recruiting for senior and leadership positions
  • Experience negotiating complex compensation packages
  • Experience designing and evolving selection processes, including defining stages, creating/adjusting scorecards and decision rituals (e.g., debriefs, hiring committees), in ambiguous environments
  • Experience partnering with stakeholders (Engineering/Product/Design) and HRBPs, aligning priorities and influencing decisions
  • Experience training/enabling interviewers (interview techniques, question structuring, bias mitigation, use of scorecards)
  • Ability to analyze data and extract actionable insights for the recruitment team and stakeholders
  • Ability to provide market perspective (benchmarks on practices, seniority levels, compensation/trends) to guide internal decisions
