About the role
- As a Working Student in Sales & Business Development, you identify the needs of companies and ensure that the best freelance experts are found for each project.
- Thanks to you, projects are staffed quickly and large companies become Junico fans!
- Account Management & Client Support: You identify the needs of our corporate clients, source suitable freelancers from our community, and accompany the entire placement process — from the first contact through onboarding to long-term client retention.
- In doing so, you take on inbound leads, hold conversations with freelancers, support contract negotiations, and help optimize our CRM and sales funnel.
- With your instinct for people and processes, you actively contribute to ensuring that companies and freelancers find the perfect match.
- Business Development & Process Optimization: You support administrative tasks related to payments and finance, develop and improve internal processes — especially in support to reduce customer effort — and contribute to both operational and strategic support.
- In addition, you support partner management and work on developing new, efficient workflows to further scale Junico.
Requirements
- You are currently studying and have already gained initial practical experience in Account Management, Business Development or Sales.
- You are motivated to work 3–5 days per week for 4–6 hours each day (Mon & Fri from home, otherwise in the office).
- You have a sales-driven mindset.
- You are excited about the startup world.
- You have the ambition to be an expert in what you do.
- You work in a goal-oriented and structured way, and you question tasks when you believe there is a better way to achieve results.
- You take full responsibility for your tasks and are the person who recognizes potential issues first.
- You enjoy working because you want to make an impact — you keep a cool head in stressful situations.
- You can motivate your colleagues, enjoy working in a team, and communication is one of your strong suits.
Benefits
- Competitive pay — starting at €15/hour with the opportunity to earn more from day one.
- Full integration into the team from day one — every employee is crucial to Junico’s success.
- Agile methods and state-of-the-art software — Slack, Google Workspace, Atlassian Suite, OpenAI (GPT-4)…
- Bright office by the water — all drinks provided, table tennis, Mario Kart and company events.
- Flexibility — workations are welcome.
- Flat hierarchies with open communication.
- Transparent processes across the entire company — you have visibility into revenue.
- Professional development during working hours — in-house library and access to learning platforms.
- Excellent mobility — Deutschlandticket (Germany public transport pass).
- Company-wide holiday shutdown between Christmas and New Year — bonus time off.
- Long-term collaboration — a working student position is the first (or second) step on a hopefully long shared journey.
