Administration

• Administration and further development of network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, firewalls)
• Operation and maintenance of physical and virtual servers (e.g., VMware vSphere, Proxmox VE) as well as central storage systems
• Management and maintenance of the Microsoft and Linux server landscape
• Technical integration of sites and subsidiaries into the existing system landscape
• Management and monitoring of SSL/TLS certificates, internal PKI structures, automated renewals and security monitoring as part of a central certificate management system
• Coordination, implementation and documentation of IT security and backup concepts
• Support in the implementation of cloud and hybrid solutions (e.g., Microsoft Azure, SAP BTP)
• Collaboration with internal departments, subsidiaries, partners and external IT service providers
• Monitoring, troubleshooting and performance optimization during ongoing operations
• Interface to facility management with regard to UPS, emergency power supply and early fire detection
