About the role
- Installation and commissioning of units at clients’ sites
- Training of operators and supporting them with applications, setup, and automation/computer control on site
- Preventative maintenance, calibration, and service
- Advising customers on technical issues and fault diagnosis
- Modification and upgrades of JULABO equipment
- Compiling method statements and risk assessments
- Ensuring demo units are in working order
- Assisting with loading and unloading
- Following up leads from sales teams regarding support service and repairs
- Identifying potential leads at site and briefing the appropriate sales team member
Requirements
- Qualification and experience in maintenance, support, and installation of sophisticated electro-mechanical systems
- Background in temperature control, heat transfer, and refrigeration
- Ability to learn
- Great communication skills
- Knowledge of PLC programming and industrial communication protocols (e.g. Modbus, Ethernet/IP)
- Office IT systems, including Word, email, etc.
- Willingness to travel/overnight stays
