About the role

  • Leadership of the Front Office team: leading, motivating and scheduling the reception and concierge teams
  • Assume leadership responsibility for the front office team to ensure JUFA Spirit customer service
  • Training of new employees and ongoing development of the team
  • Promote the individual development of all team members through motivational leadership
  • Foster positive team dynamics and engagement

  • Guest care: welcoming and assisting guests at a professional level

  • Handling guest complaints and conflict resolution
  • Personal attention to guests and resolution of individual requests and concerns
  • Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes
  • Administrative tasks & revenue optimization: managing room reservations, booking systems and front office processes
  • Review of invoices, payments and billing
  • Preparation of daily and monthly reports for hotel management
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue (cross-selling and up-selling)
  • Active participation in revenue management activities to boost occupancy and profitability
  • Analyze booking data and competitor information to identify revenue opportunities
  • Coordinate with other departments: work with housekeeping, restaurant, kitchen and technical teams
  • Ensure guest requests and special requirements are fulfilled
  • Quality and process management: compliance with hotel standards, safety and hygiene guidelines
  • Optimize workflows and service processes
  • Support the implementation of new software or systems
  • Point of contact for personnel management

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in hotel management or graduation from a secondary or higher vocational school
  • Several years of front office experience, ideally with leadership responsibilities
  • Experience with hotel software
  • Good knowledge of accounting, reservation systems and guest management
  • Foreign language skills, at least English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Strong leadership and team skills
  • Friendly and professional manner
  • Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
  • High service orientation and empathy
