Procurement

• Verantwortung für den strategischen und operativen Einkauf technischer Großkomponenten (z. B. Transformatoren, Umspannwerke, EMSR-Technik, BESS Anlagen) sowie indirekter Güter und Dienstleistungen
• Entwicklung und Umsetzung einer zukunftsorientierten Einkaufsstrategie für unsere Energieprojekte – mit Fokus auf Qualität, Kosten und Liefersicherheit
• Führen von Vertragsverhandlungen, Abschluss und Management von Dienstleistungs- und Serviceverträgen (z. B. O&M, Wartung, Bauleistungen, Produktlieferverträge)
• Aufbau, Pflege und Bewertung von Lieferantenbeziehungen, inklusive Preisanalysen, Ausschreibungen und Marktbeobachtungen
• Enge Abstimmung mit den maßgeblich internen Bereichen Projektentwicklung und Projektumsetzung zur frühzeitigen Einbindung in technische Spezifikationen und Projektanforderungen
• Steuerung der Einkaufsprozesse von der Bedarfsplanung bis zur Vergabeentscheidung – inklusive Kosten-, Qualitäts- und Terminverantwortung
• Einführung effizienter Einkaufsprozesse, Tools und KPI-basierter Steuerung
• Verantwortung für das Einkaufsbudget sowie Optimierung von Beschaffungsstrategien (z.B. Volumenbündelung auf Portfolioebene)

• Support the identification, evaluation and structuring of co-development and M&A projects for large-scale battery storage
• Participate in negotiations with project developers, investors and partners — from initial contact through to contract signing

• Work closely with Delivery, Operations, Finance and Legal teams for a comprehensive project assessment
• Coordinate external consultants and law firms in due diligence and negotiation processes
• Prepare presentations, decision papers and business cases for management and investors

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Develop, maintain and optimize financial models to evaluate projects, investments and M&A initiatives (IRR, NPV, cash flow analyses)
• Create and manage business cases across all project phases – from early development through operational phase
• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to make the financial impacts of strategic decisions transparent
• Analyze CapEx, OpEx and revenue structures and identify key value drivers
• Work closely with the Development, Delivery, Finance and Trading teams on economic and strategic topics
• Support medium- and long-term business planning and the optimization of our investment decision processes
• Prepare decision papers and management reporting based on your model analyses

Financial Modeling Expert

• Development, evaluation and maintenance of business cases across all project phases – from initial concept to commercial operation
• Responsibility for controlling and reporting of our battery storage projects in the development, construction and operational phases
• Structuring and support of project financings as well as ongoing management of existing financing structures (including communication with banks)
• Establishment and further development of a standardized valuation and reporting framework for all projects and entities
• Consolidation of technical and commercial data into concise decision papers for management and investors
• Contribution to the development of long-term finance and investment strategies ("Monaco Model")
• Close coordination with Development, Delivery, Operations and Energy Trading teams
• Leading, coaching and developing your team
