Systems Engineer

• You are responsible for the technical design and optimization of our stationary battery storage systems (20–500 MW)
• You analyze the interaction between batteries, inverters, transformer, cooling, EMS and other system components
• You assess and define system designs regarding performance, efficiency, lifetime and degradation
• You quickly identify technical issues and resolve them in a structured manner through troubleshooting and fault analyses
• You actively support commissioning activities and ensure our systems are brought online stably
• You work closely with manufacturers, suppliers and internal teams

• Elektrotechnische Gesamtverantwortung innerhalb unserer BESS-Projekte
• Zentraler Ansprechpartner für alle elektrischen Themen im Projekt
• Zusammenarbeit mit dem Projektleiter
• Komplexe technische Inhalte in klare Projektstrukturen übersetzen
• Abstimmung mit internen Fachbereichen, externen Partnern, Planungsbüros und Lieferanten
• Technische Planungen und Unterlagen prüfen und freigeben (Schaltpläne, Layouts, Berechnungen, Schutzkonzepte)
• Koordination von Elektroinstallateuren, Fachgewerken und Anlagenbauern
• Sicherstellung der technischen Qualität der Umsetzung

Lead Electrical Engineer – Batteriegroßspeicher, BESS

• Responsibility for the overall electrical architecture of grid connections in the high and extra-high voltage range
• Development of technical concepts for substations, grid connections and protection and control systems
• Independent design/sizing of key components such as transformers and switchgear
• Close collaboration with transmission and distribution system operators (TSO/DSO)
• Management of grid connection processes and implementation of regulatory requirements
• Support of projects from planning through commissioning
