About the role
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned to organisational goals, driving growth across sales, marketing, and consulting services.
- Identify, secure, and lead complex sales opportunities, including shaping win strategies, solution design, commercial approach, and contract negotiations.
- Build and manage senior stakeholder relationships across public and private sectors, fostering long-term partnerships and repeat business while owning key customer accounts.
- Oversee end-to-end sales processes, including pipeline management, forecasting, proposal development, procurement support, and alignment of internal teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide market insight and strategic input, supporting bids, improving internal processes, representing customer needs, and contributing to organisational growth and team success.
Requirements
- A strong understanding of healthcare IT; experience with medical laboratories or pathology services is beneficial.
- Demonstrated success in complex services and solutions sales, including commercial negotiation.
- Experience in account management and customer relationship management.
- Strong organisational, time management and communication skills.
- Leadership experience and contract knowledge are advantageous but not essential.
- A proactive, motivated and collaborative approach to work.
