About the role
- Develop, support, and execute visual merchandising communication and presentation standards across assigned Journeys Group concepts.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners to maintain visual consistency and enhance in-store brand storytelling.
- Support the planning and execution of visual merchandising communication initiatives by coordinating development, production, photography, and document design.
- Collaborate on communication workflows by tracking project timelines, coordinating photo shoots, and ensuring timely and accurate information for field teams.
- Provide store support for locations that reach out via email and portal feedback on visual merchandising questions and requests.
- Assist with the organization and execution of in-studio photo shoots, including photography editing and image processing.
- Work closely with Buying and Merchandising partners to translate seasonal priorities into clear visual strategies.
- Support the ongoing creation and maintenance of computer aided design (CAD) materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Design or Art preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Photoshop, InDesign and Mac operating system
- Journeys retail store management experience (minimum 2+ years store management experience) or other varied retail experience
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in digital photography and editing
- A passion for visual merchandising, design, and retail presentation trends
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 30-50 pounds for display shifting and moving VM items
- Some travel required
