About the role
- Partner with Account Executives to drive opportunities from discovery through technical validation.
- Lead presales discovery sessions to understand customers’ SaaS usage, IT controls, and security requirements.
- Deliver compelling demos and solution walkthroughs tailored to enterprise use cases.
- Build integration plans with Directory/SSO (Okta, Azure AD), HRIS, ITSM, MDM, and API endpoints.
- Lead proof-of-concepts and pilots; troubleshoot configuration and technical blockers.
- Own RFP/RFI responses and technical solution documentation.
- Translate technical needs into crisp solution proposals and architecture diagrams.
- Work closely with Product & Engineering to surface customer insights and influence roadmap.
- Create reusable playbooks, demo scripts, integration templates, architecture diagrams, etc.
- Support handoff to Customer Success post-close to ensure seamless onboarding.
Requirements
- 4–6+ years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting, or Technical Presales
- Strong proficiency in SaaS architecture, identity, and IT integrations (SSO, SCIM, APIs)
- Experience presenting to senior IT stakeholders (CIO, CISO, IT Directors, Ops, Procurement)
- Strong problem-solving ability and customer empathy
- Excellent communication and ability to simplify complex technical topics
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment and influencing product decisions.
