Provide reliable, timely, efficient support to our Commissioning & Building Analytics (CBA) team.
Work with a diverse group of internal and external Stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment.
Carry out commissioning processes and deliverables covered in ASHRAE, CSA, and LEED commissioning requirements.
Expertise in Mechanical and Plumbing equipment/systems inspections, testing and associated commissioning activities with a strong understanding of electrical, fire protection, and control systems.
Monitor, review, and execute all facets of Commissioning related projects by providing exceptional technical and field activities.
Liaise with facilities management and engineering services team members, outside consultants and contractors to assist CBA in leading cross functional teams on various projects.
Protect JLL’s contractual position and ensure our work meets contracted requirements.
Carry out field-based commissioning activities, including site visits, developing test forms, managing execution, and performing design reviews.
Develop and track and resolve issues using an Issues Log.
Write detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Methods-of-Procedures (MOPs).
Requirements
A recognized university technical degree or equivalent. Engineering Degree is preferred
LEED AP certification
Experience in the use of mechanical testing meters and equipment and analyze and report on test results including portable data loggers, air flow meters, TAB reports, etc.
Knowledge and experience in testing mechanical and HVAC&R systems including chilled water plants, AHUs/RTUs/DOAS units, boilers, thermal storage systems, building management & automation systems, fire protection systems, plumbing equipment and systems, and other commercial and industrial heating and cooling systems
A minimum of 10 years of relevant mechanical engineering and/or field-testing experience with minimum of 5 years in providing building commissioning
Strong data management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in MS Project, Word, and Excel
Demonstrated ability to coordinate and organize multiple project schedule inputs/performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project/program status reports as required.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and report against contractor (and other third party) schedule updates received.
