About the role
- Lead end-to-end project delivery for AFC technology workstreams
- Build and maintain integrated project plans for the AFC transformation program
- Drive cross-functional coordination across Technology, Ethics & Compliance, Data Governance, Operations, and external vendor teams
- Manage project financials including budget tracking, forecasting, variance analysis, and regular reporting of actuals against plan
- Identify, assess, and actively mitigate project risks and issues
- Lead change management activities for AFC technology rollouts
- Facilitate governance forums including steering committees, working groups, and status reviews with senior stakeholders
- Manage vendor delivery timelines and hold external partners accountable
- Produce clear, concise project reporting for senior leadership
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment planning, and go-live readiness activities
- Drive lessons learned and continuous improvement practices across the program
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- 8+ years of technology project management experience
- PMP certification (Project Management Professional) required
- Demonstrated experience managing technology transformation or large-scale system implementation programs
- Proven change management capability
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills
- Rigorous financial management experience
- Expert-level proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, MS Project, Confluence)
- Strong risk and issue management discipline
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience managing vendor relationships
