About the role
- Oversee site budgets, finance, maintenance/operations, contract services, procurement and helpdesk across the WA, SA and NT portfolio
- Engage stakeholders to ensure onsite client expectations are met
- Develop effective relationships across multiple organisational levels
- Act as the key point of contact for the facility portfolio
- Ensure vendors are well-managed, delivering timely services within budget
- Conduct facilities inspections within the portfolio, performing audits and assessments
- Plan and manage all contracts to ensure they are professionally delivered
- Continually assess contracts to seek best value on behalf of the client
- Monitor financial operations to ensure targets and control requirements are met
- Recommend continuous quality improvement practices and implement best practice
- Follow established escalation and incident reporting procedures
Requirements
- Qualifications and/or demonstrated industry experience within facilities, building, property
- Track record of delivering best practice and quality to clients
- Experienced working within critical environments
- Knowledge of local OH&S requirements
- Vendor management experience for specialised services
- Understanding of basic technical aspects of property
- Proven capacity to interpret commercial contracts and financial analysis skills
