About the role
- Lead, manage and direct the strategic sourcing and vendor management processes for PDS
- Provide superior client service through providing objective recommendations
- Provide strategic vision for all Sourcing and Procurement aspects of the PDS business including best practices and innovation
- Drive the use of the PDS preferred supplier program (Synergy)
- Identify risks and opportunities to management and recommend strategies to achieve company goals
- Effectively develop and lead complex short-term and longer term sourcing strategies
- Responsible for Business Intelligence spend analysis to identify sourcing and value creation opportunities
- Own sourcing compliance and controls across PDS
Requirements

- Strong Analytical Ability
- Proven ability to lead teams in decentralized environment
- Self-motivated and able to perform the role with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills – oral and written
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and 15+ years strategic sourcing or related experience; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of supervisory experience
- Project management and business transitions experience preferred.
- Excellent PC skills, proficient in MS Office applications
