About the role
- Lead project scientists, ensuring appropriate training, mentoring, and supervision
- Work closely with clinical project scientists and GCO to ensure comprehensive medical monitoring
- Collaborate on study design elements including assessment of complexity and cost
- Participate in strategic study start-up planning
- Co-lead and oversee clinical development/authorship of documents
- Work with Medical Writing to support protocol or protocol amendment completion
- Address protocol questions from Health Authorities and Ethics Committees
- Track study recruitment and implement action plans
- Interact with clinical investigators and Key Opinion Leaders as appropriate
- Provide oversight of CRO/study vendors’ performance
- Support the development of NDA/MAAs and health agency responses
Requirements
- Advanced Degree in Medicine (i.e. M.D or equivalent)
- Board certified or Board eligible Uro-Oncologist/Oncologist preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant urology/oncology clinical research
- Significant knowledge of basic and clinical cancer research
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Successful work experience in a matrix team environment
- Ability to use influencing skills
- Travel required may be up to 20-30% annually
