About the role
- Support development and integration of functional plans across SIS functional disciplines and sites to enable aligned, execution-ready planning.
- Coordinate planning calendars, sequencing, and cross‑functional interlock points to support consistent and scalable SIS planning practices.
- Ensure assumptions, constraints, dependencies, and trade‑offs are clearly articulated for leadership review and decision-making.
- Enable SIS execution readiness by identifying cross‑functional risks, capacity considerations, and areas of misalignment early in the planning process.
- Assist in translating strategic priorities into operationally realistic, fit-for-purpose plans.
- Reinforce consistent planning standards and ways of working that improve clarity, quality, speed, and predictability across SIS operations.
- Maintain and coordinate SIS planning and operating rhythms to support alignment, transparency, and follow‑through.
- Ensure information used in leadership planning and operational forums is current, integrated, and decision‑ready.
- Support preparation of planning materials for leadership forums, enabling efficient discussion and timely decisions.
- Proactively surface planning and execution barriers such as unclear ownership, unnecessary steps, or duplicative effort.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in operations, functional planning, business management, or related roles within a complex, matrixed organization.
- Demonstrated in vivo scientific acumen in a discovery and preclinical environment.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate cross‑functional inputs and influence outcomes without formal authority.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear, actionable insights for senior audiences.
- Experience supporting R&D, scientific, or regulated environments preferred.
- Familiarity with enterprise operating models, operational excellence, or large‑scale planning processes preferred.
