About the role

  • Mentor, develop, and lead a high‑performing team to achieve sales objectives for Immunology/Rheumatology products within the Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine portfolio
  • Strategically shape district business plans while operating effectively within an assigned budget
  • Translate regional and district vision into clear priorities, fostering a strong team culture while managing performance, developing talent, and motivating individuals and teams
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of core product clinical attributes and clearly communicate value to customers and internal partners
  • Build and sustain trusted relationships with key customers and cross‑functional partners to drive business results
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to adapt to changing business needs
  • Collaborate across functions and work in the field with minimal supervision

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of five (5) years of successful pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech, or medical device sales experience, defined as selling FDA‑approved pharmaceutical or device product(s) to licensed healthcare professionals (e.g., MD, NP, RN, etc.)
  • A valid Driver’s License issued by one of the 50 United States
  • Ability to travel up to 60%
  • Reside within the geography or be willing to relocate
  • Management and/or supervisory experience (Preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing demands (Preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate strategy into clear, executable plans (Preferred)
  • Clear, concise communicator with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of the Immunology/Rheumatology therapeutic area (Preferred)
  • MBA (Preferred)
