About the role

  • Lead manufacturing, maintenance, projects, and base business engineering personnel within the Ethicon WCH manufacturing operations in Puerto Rico.
  • Optimize supply chain performance, consistently meet customer expectations.
  • Manage the manufacturing operations and projects for Ethicon Wound Closure and Healing.
  • Deliver supply reliability through Product Value Stream Management and End-to-End process improvements.
  • Drive significant improvement in the predictable, reliable supply of quality products.
  • Create a workplace where all employees feel valued and are provided opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and implement a strategy to drive continuous improvement of manufacturing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Bachelor's in Engineering or Science is preferred.
  • A minimum 10 years of experience in a Supply Chain environment and a proven leadership track record in at least 2 years of the following functional areas: manufacturing, engineering, planning, distribution and/or quality is required.
  • Minimum five (5) years of supervisory experience is required.
  • Ability to travel between the Manati site and San Lorenzo site is required.
  • Bilingual, English and Spanish.
  • Understanding of manufacturing shop floor and related computer systems.
  • Strong analytical problem solving and interpersonal skills ability.
  • Leadership and Negotiating skills.
  • Associate relations capabilities.
  • Technology management.
  • Financial variance analysis.
