About the role
- Lead manufacturing, maintenance, projects, and base business engineering personnel within the Ethicon WCH manufacturing operations in Puerto Rico.
- Optimize supply chain performance, consistently meet customer expectations.
- Manage the manufacturing operations and projects for Ethicon Wound Closure and Healing.
- Deliver supply reliability through Product Value Stream Management and End-to-End process improvements.
- Drive significant improvement in the predictable, reliable supply of quality products.
- Create a workplace where all employees feel valued and are provided opportunities for growth.
- Develop and implement a strategy to drive continuous improvement of manufacturing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required, Bachelor's in Engineering or Science is preferred.
- A minimum 10 years of experience in a Supply Chain environment and a proven leadership track record in at least 2 years of the following functional areas: manufacturing, engineering, planning, distribution and/or quality is required.
- Minimum five (5) years of supervisory experience is required.
- Ability to travel between the Manati site and San Lorenzo site is required.
- Bilingual, English and Spanish.
- Understanding of manufacturing shop floor and related computer systems.
- Strong analytical problem solving and interpersonal skills ability.
- Leadership and Negotiating skills.
- Associate relations capabilities.
- Technology management.
- Financial variance analysis.
