About the role

  • Lead and support sourcing, portfolio management and develop, monitor, and analyze KPIs across operational areas
  • Drive key initiatives and strategic long-term goals through scheduled tracking and reporting
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective management of day-to-day Business Operations
  • Accountable for planning, organizing, and providing timely responses to inquiries, and resolving issues
  • Partner with Sr. Director of Incubation ENA, and Global Sr. Director of Strategy & Operations to support ESI mission, including compliance, budget management, and reporting
  • Engage in a cross-functional team and support operational and financial compliance
  • Maintain JFORCE and other systems with up-to-date portfolio data and milestone progress
  • Track and report on partner incubator portfolios and drive SME engagement
  • Implement policies, procedures, processes, and governance controls for efficient operations
  • Develop and apply IT-based systems and analytics for data analysis and reporting

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is required
  • Minimum of 5-8 years in the life sciences industry, including at least 5 years in business development, sourcing, and data management
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Macros, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, PowerPivot) and experience with Power BI
  • Advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to generate actionable insights through data visualization
  • Keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to investigating anomalies
  • Preferred experience in project/process management, vendor management, and budget oversight
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and independent thinking skills.
