About the role
- Support novel target identification efforts for neuropsychiatric disorders.
- Ingest relevant multi-omics data, data harmonization.
- Perform novel target identification using integrative approaches, prioritizing nominated targets, and conduct downstream analysis.
- Work closely with a team of scientists in disease genetics, computational genomics, AI and machine learning, and neuroscience therapeutic area.
- Design and implement computational pipelines, analyze and interpret results, and communicate findings through internal presentations.
Requirements
- Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.
- Enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a PhD degree in computational biology, bioinformatics, statistical genetics, biostatistics, computer science or related fields
- Be in your second year or above in school with a graduation date after August 2026
- GPA of 2.8 or above
- Proficient in programming languages such as R/Python, bash, SQL, etc. and familiarity with high performance computing platforms.
- Experience with multi-omics data integration, especially network analysis.
- Experience/knowledge of neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative diseases is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to effectively communicate technical findings with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
