About the role
- The position is designed to improve the knowledge and skill set of high potential individuals
- AAE will be able to temporarily relocate to cover vacant territories within the region as needed
- Provide technical product knowledge and in-service support to ensure customer satisfaction
- Call on all Ophthalmologists and staff within a region to grow the market share of that area
- Manage a budget for travel and expenses as well as for the territory
- Prepare and provide detailed sales/procedural/financial presentations to new and existing customers
Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
- One to three years of any sales experience or three to five years med tech professional experience
- Required to meet all grade requirements in all steps of the program
- A valid driver's license in one of the 50 United States is required
- The ability to work as part of a sales team and support company goals and sales objectives is required
- Relocation within the region after STEP graduation and determined by business need
- The ability to travel (up to 75%) which may include overnight / weekend travel is required
- Surgical O.R. or ophthalmic industry experience is a plus
