About the role

  • The position is designed to improve the knowledge and skill set of high potential individuals
  • AAE will be able to temporarily relocate to cover vacant territories within the region as needed
  • Provide technical product knowledge and in-service support to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Call on all Ophthalmologists and staff within a region to grow the market share of that area
  • Manage a budget for travel and expenses as well as for the territory
  • Prepare and provide detailed sales/procedural/financial presentations to new and existing customers

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
  • One to three years of any sales experience or three to five years med tech professional experience
  • Required to meet all grade requirements in all steps of the program
  • A valid driver's license in one of the 50 United States is required
  • The ability to work as part of a sales team and support company goals and sales objectives is required
  • Relocation within the region after STEP graduation and determined by business need
  • The ability to travel (up to 75%) which may include overnight / weekend travel is required
  • Surgical O.R. or ophthalmic industry experience is a plus
