About the role

  • Collaborate and work closely with Data Scientists and Scientists to investigate disease associated cellular states and derive biological insights
  • Perform advanced analytics to investigate how disease risk variants alter cellular states
  • Apply single cell methods to analyze cellular state trajectories with respect to clinical disease progression and disease-related endophenotypes
  • Follow all best practices for code version control and reproducible research

Requirements

  • Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.
  • Currently Enrolled in a PhD program in Data Science, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or related field
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in single cell transcriptomic analyses using Python-based methods
  • Fluent in Python
  • Experience with code version control using Git
  • Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.
