About the role
- Creates and executes comprehensive market access strategies through the integration of pricing and reimbursement, health technology assessment, evidence-based medicine review, and health economic modeling activities.
- Designs, develops and implements an integrated approach to all aspects of the payer value proposition from early development through and beyond loss of exclusivity.
- Communicates the unique attributes of the therapeutic area drugs/medical devices to external multi-stakeholders to ensure the drug's/device's value proposition will be recognized and maximize market uptake.
- Works collectively with payers, including HTA, reimbursement influencers and other decision makers to ensure the continuous changing reimbursement systems remain fair to all involved parties.
- Develop strategic studies with the end-customer in mind to ensure that the results will favorably impact pricing, reimbursement and market access as well as market uptake.
- Provides quantitative and qualitative pricing research.
- Works with Health Economics/Outcomes Research to design pricing strategy.
- Directs through lower management levels.
- Has responsibility for managing a function that includes multiple related departments.
- Establish policies appropriate for the function.
- Interprets and recommends modifications to company-wide policies and practices.
- Interacts with senior management, and others concerning matters of significance to the company.
- Conduct business and technical briefings for senior and top management and for external representatives.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Pharmacy, or related fields.
- Strategic thinking and strong business acumen.
- Analytical profile with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Productive, dynamic, and efficient in work planning and execution.
- Ability to plan, communicate, and think outside the box to solve complex problems.
- Advanced English.
- Experience in market access, HEOR, and/or strategic business areas.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry in similar roles, managing social security/health insurance.
- Experience and specific knowledge of the chronic and high-cost treatments market.
- Knowledge of the country’s healthcare system and market access conditions.
- Understanding of health technology assessment principles and health economics.
- Ability to critically interpret and use medical and HE literature.
- Data analysis skills to interpret market information and integrate insights into market access plans.
- Integrity and behavior aligned with the Credo.

- Holistic understanding with strong attention to detail.
