About the role
- Conduct outbound sales calls to prospect, qualify, and develop new direct business opportunities
- Meet or exceed monthly targets for prospective customer site visits and new opportunity creation
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete data entry in the CRM, including account activity, contacts, and opportunities pipeline updates.
- Deliver guided product demonstration experiences for existing and prospective customers to support solution selling and drive new business
- Regularly provide management with accurate reports
- Meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals
- Collaborate with Regional Manager, WC Team and Channel Managers to strategize and cultivate the territory
- Follow all related procedures & policies
- Attend periodic industry trade shows which usually require travel
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent plus additional training or education such as an associate degree with combination of experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred in relevant field preferred
- 2+ years of sales experience as a proven producer preferred
- Sales forecasting and reporting capability required
- Working knowledge of the commercial fitness industry; dues paying facilities or vertical market required
- 2 years or more of target account related or commercial fitness equipment sales preferred
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer required
- Software experience with CRM (SFDC), Auto Sketch, EC Design or similar preferred
- Driver’s license required, with acceptable motor vehicle record for extensive domestic travel for customer site visits, trade shows, sales meetings, etc.
