About the role
- Lead overall management of sales strategies and budgets for DePuy Synthes portfolio
- Implement and carry out selling strategies and strategic sales plans
- Recruit, hire, and retain a diverse group of individuals within their region
- Provide ongoing performance management, mentorship, and career development of sales team
- Drive business results by working closely with consultants to set and achieve territory objectives
- Establish relationships with key surgeons, key accounts, and associations by identifying potential opportunities
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent in an applicable field such as Business, Marketing, Finance
- At least 8 years of relevant business and/or leadership experience
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience, coaching, or mentoring others
- Participation in a Sales Leadership Development Program is preferred
- Excellent listening, written & oral communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Strong Customer Understanding
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop field sales talent
- Valid driver's license issued in the United States
- Ability to travel related to this role is required (Significant Travel 30% - 50%)
