About the role

  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan aligned with corporate objectives that empowers the regional O DACH team to exceed revenue plans and patient support.
  • Conduct AARs and plan of action with local regional surgical team.
  • Identify opportunities, generate market awareness, and drive adoption of ABMD surgical product portfolio.
  • Support and open new accounts and built KOL network.
  • Ensuring the effectiveness of the Sales/Clinical team through 1:1 travel and on-site coaching.
  • Coordination and management of joint activities with local Regional Manager, Physician Program team, Marketing & Training Department as well as local Cardiological Franchise Teams.
  • Ensuring the competence of staff and clients through the development, retention, and performance management of the Sales/Clinical Team.
  • Continuous development of his team's personal and professional skills.
  • Grow and establish peer-to-peer surgical networks to share best practices and develop peer-to-peer educational programs.
  • Cooperation, development, and implementation of surgical campaigns with the EU/US Marketing Teams.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and represent the company with high integrity, ethics, honesty, loyalty, and professionalism.
  • Represent us at surgical conferences across the EMEA region. In rare situations, where no team member is available, case support as required.
  • Ability to travel regularly up to 80%. Regular meetings with field team and clients is required.

Requirements

  • College degree required, preferably in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Proven and experienced sales professional with strong medical device background.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in medical device sales, ideally in Cardiac Surgery/Cardiology (Mechanical Circulatory Support) or related therapeutic areas.
  • Prior leadership experience, including responsibility for leading and managing sales teams.
  • Strong combination of commercial expertise and medical understanding.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in fluent English are required; additional languages are highly valued.
