About the role
- Service, install, repair, and fault-find on a range of door systems
- Apply risk assessments and method statements to ensure safe working practices
- Use electrical knowledge to support diagnostics and repairs
- Complete service reports and handover documentation accurately
- Collaborate with planning and operations to manage workload and priorities
- Deliver a first-class customer experience through problem-solving and clear communication
- Participate in the Out-of-Hours (OOH) call-out rota as required
Requirements
- Proven experience servicing, repairing, and installing door systems
- Strong communication and relationship skills
- Reliable, self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel and stay overnight
- Familiarity with safe systems of work and PPE usage
- Intermediate to advanced fault-finding and commissioning skills (preferred)
- Health & Safety certifications (IPAF, PASMA, competency card) (preferred)
- Electrical qualification (preferred)
- Ability to read technical drawings and manage complex installations (preferred)
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PDF) for reports (preferred)
