About the role

  • Service, install, repair, and fault-find on a range of door systems
  • Apply risk assessments and method statements to ensure safe working practices
  • Use electrical knowledge to support diagnostics and repairs
  • Complete service reports and handover documentation accurately
  • Collaborate with planning and operations to manage workload and priorities
  • Deliver a first-class customer experience through problem-solving and clear communication
  • Participate in the Out-of-Hours (OOH) call-out rota as required

Requirements

  • Proven experience servicing, repairing, and installing door systems
  • Strong communication and relationship skills
  • Reliable, self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel and stay overnight
  • Familiarity with safe systems of work and PPE usage
  • Intermediate to advanced fault-finding and commissioning skills (preferred)
  • Health & Safety certifications (IPAF, PASMA, competency card) (preferred)
  • Electrical qualification (preferred)
  • Ability to read technical drawings and manage complex installations (preferred)
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PDF) for reports (preferred)
