About the role
- Lead and develop a team of Sales Consultants.
- Drive sales execution and manage supplier relationships.
- Ensure operational excellence across the designated region.
- Conduct bi-annual performance reviews and onboarding.
- Spend approximately 80% of time in the market with Sales Consultants and Merchandisers.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to create a winning atmosphere.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years of sales experience, preferred in the wine or spirits industry.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and/or prior management experience a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all functional areas and organizational levels.
- Strong organizational, problem solving and negotiation skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. of product.
- Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Must pass criminal background check and MVR.
