About the role
- Preparation, monitoring and post-operative care for surgical procedures
- Implementation of OR, treatment and nursing standards based on the latest nursing science findings
- Scrubbing during operations and performing circulating (swing) duties
- Accompanying and monitoring sedated patients
- Assistance and processing in endoscopy
- Independent and professional execution of medical orders
- Compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal instructions
- Documentation and administrative tasks
- Participation in the on-call duty roster
Requirements
- Relevant qualification as an Operating Room Technician (OTA) with state recognition, or qualified nurse (m/f/d) with OR experience and willingness to complete specialist further training, or with completed specialist training in surgical services
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of OR documentation systems
- Strong interpersonal and professional skills and motivation to work purposefully with all involved professional groups
- High commitment and willingness to innovate
- Team spirit as well as an independent and reliable way of working
