About the role
- Instrument and assist during surgical procedures
- Prepare and clean operating rooms as well as the required instruments and materials before and after procedures
- Ensure and monitor compliance with hygiene standards
- Document the measures carried out in the OR area
- Care for and monitor patients before, during and after operations
- Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team and contribute to continuous improvement processes
Requirements
- Completed training as an Operating Room Assistant (OTA), nursing specialist (m/f/d) or Medical Assistant (MFA)
- Ideally, initial professional experience in the OR area
- Knowledge of current hygiene guidelines and standards
- Sense of responsibility, reliability and ability to work in a team
- Independent and structured way of working
- Willingness to work shifts
- Friendly and confident manner and strong social skills
- German language skills at least at B2 level
