About the role
- Preparation, monitoring and postoperative care for surgical procedures
- Implementing OR, treatment and nursing standards based on the latest nursing science
- Instrument handling during operations and performing circulating/runner duties
- Accompanying and monitoring sedated patients
- Assistance and reprocessing in endoscopy
- Independently and professionally carrying out medical orders
- Compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal instructions
- Documentation and administrative tasks
- Participation in on-call duty
Requirements
- Relevant qualification as a Surgical Technologist (OTA) with state recognition, or a registered nurse with experience in operating room work and willingness to undertake (or already completed) specialist advanced training in operative services
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of OR documentation systems
- Strong social and professional skills and motivation for goal-oriented collaboration with all involved professional groups
- High level of commitment and willingness to innovate
- Team spirit as well as an independent and reliable working style
