About the role
- Instrument and assist during surgical procedures
- Pre- and post-operative preparation of operating rooms and required instruments and materials
- Ensure and monitor compliance with hygiene standards
- Document procedures and interventions performed in the OR
- Care for and monitor patients before, during and after operations
- Collaborate within the interdisciplinary team and contribute to continuous improvement processes
Requirements
- Completed training as a Surgical Technologist (OTA), OR nurse, or Medical Assistant (MFA)
- Ideally, initial professional experience in the operating room
- Knowledge of current hygiene guidelines and standards
- Sense of responsibility, reliability and ability to work in a team
- Independent and structured way of working
- Willingness to work shifts
- Friendly, confident manner and strong interpersonal skills
- German language skills at least at level B2
