About the role
- Instrument and assist during surgical procedures
- Prepare and clean operating rooms, instruments, and materials before and after procedures
- Ensure and monitor compliance with hygiene and infection control standards
- Document procedures and measures carried out in the OR
- Care for and monitor patients before, during, and after surgery
- Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team and contribute to continuous improvement processes
Requirements
- Completed training as a Surgical Technologist (OTA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Medical Assistant (MFA)
- Ideally, some initial professional experience in the operating room
- Knowledge of current hygiene and infection control guidelines and standards
- Responsible, reliable, and a team player
- Independent and structured working style
- Willingness to work shifts
- Friendly, confident manner and strong interpersonal skills
- German language skills at least at B2 level
