About the role
- Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the engineering lab.
- Supervising a team of technicians.
- Ensuring all internal systems, test cells, and test equipment operate at peak performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching for skill development.
- Oversee the maintenance and functionality of all internal systems, test cells, and test equipment.
- Ensure compliance with diagnostic standards and resolve system failures promptly through effective troubleshooting and debugging.
- Plan and implement internal systems to support new product introductions (NPI).
Requirements
- B.S. in Engineering , Manufacturing, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in lab operations, system maintenance, or test environments, or related experience.
- Proven experience supervising technical staff and managing lab operations.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for complex systems.
- Knowledge of calibration standards, diagnostic tools, and preventive maintenance practices.
