About the role
- Set and coordinate court dates, mediations, and hearings.
- Arrange meetings with clients.
- Handle e-filing and service of legal documents.
- Manage communications and provide regular updates to clients.
- Maintain and organize client files systematically.
- Update practice management software.
- Create notice notes and applicable documentation for review.
- Conduct conflict checks.
- Conduct research pertinent to ongoing cases.
- Gather appropriate legal documentation/forms from clients.
- Draft and proofread legal documents and correspondence.
- Perform general administrative tasks to support daily operations.
- Forward clients to appropriate team members.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience as a legal assistant or in a legal support role.
- Bachelor's degree in Law is a must.
- Advanced/native-level English skills (both written and spoken).
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
