About the role

  • Lead the design and development of large-scale communications Distributed Antennas Systems (DAS) in major venues (e.g. airports, stadiums, enterprise facilities), in close collaboration with cross-functional engineering leads and senior management.
  • Manage Systems Architecture team and Product team in identifying system requirements and developing the platform architecture. Lead all technical activities to characterize, verify and validate system design and performance.
  • Lead team across all project plans, track team progress, and drive resources to meet engineering commitments. Manage JMA relationships during construction while providing oversight of contractors.
  • Review project contracts, and ensure team is delivering projects and work product according to contract and customer specifications. Provide wireless engineering to educate customers on the JMA portfolio of products and solutions. Support customer commissioning and design reviews.
  • Create product competitive benchmarks and demonstrate product functionality accurately and completely. Provide technical guidance and support to customer base.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, plus 5 years of post-Bachelor’s progressive experience in the position offered or as Product Line Engineer, Product and Solutions Manager or DAS Engineer at a telecommunications company.
  • All of the required experience must have included: implementing, designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting large-scale communications DAS systems for venues including stadiums, airports, shopping malls, arenas and race tracks; using iBwave and Microsoft Visio for design tasks, Spectrum Analyzer for commissioning, 4G/5G Walk Test tools for optimizing, and Noise, Low Coverage and Sector Dominance for troubleshooting; working in factory and manufacturing environments, applying operational workflows and quality standards.
  • Must be willing to travel domestically 50-75% of time for on-site project tasks including customer meetings, site surveys, and training. Telecommuting is permitted from any location in the U.S. #LI-DNI
