Financial Planning and Analysis

• Report to the Executive Director and serve as a key member of the leadership team
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals and mission impact
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year financial planning processes
• Conduct scenario planning, cash flow forecasting, and KPI monitoring
• Provide regular financial insights and dashboards to the Executive Director, Finance Committee, and Board
• Oversee day-to-day financial management including accounting, reconciliations, and internal controls
• Ensure timely preparation of financial statements, grant reports, and regulatory filings
• Manage restricted and unrestricted funds in accordance with nonprofit fund accounting standards
• Collaborate with program and development teams to align budgets and grant funding with program needs
• Partner with external HR and accounting consultants to support compensation analysis and compliance
• Manage the full lifecycle of grant funding: acceptance, tracking, compliance, and reporting
• Oversee financial tracking and reporting for grants disbursed by the organization and maintain grant databases
• Monitor grant expenditures against approved budgets and address variances with program teams
• Lead annual audits and liaise with external auditors (including international subsidiaries, if applicable)
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and international regulatory requirements
• Oversee organizational risk management, insurance coverage, and renewals
• Collaborate with investment consultants to monitor endowment performance and align with investment policies
• Supervise, mentor, and support finance staff and/or contractors and manage third-party vendors and RFP processes

• Elevate and extend NAGC’s marketing and communications efforts to expand visibility and enhance growth.
• Oversee promotion and branding; develop strategies for awareness, promotion, and communications.
• Drive growth in membership, product sales, and event success.
• Work closely with senior staff on strategic initiatives and maintain member-centric approach.
• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans for programs (convention, membership, events, publications).
• Collaborate with staff to identify marketing needs; develop creative copy, email campaigns, ads, and measure campaign success.
• Identify, collect, and analyze marketing metrics; implement social media strategy and oversee digital marketing (SEO, PPC, email).
• Protect brand consistency; oversee creation/editing of digital messaging, ads, artwork, and maintain marketing calendar.
• Manage marketing budget and allocate resources.
• Develop and implement communications strategy; oversee website maintenance, media relations, press releases, and weekly NewsSource newsletter.
