About the role

Supports Flight Operations compliance with JetBlue Safety Management System (SMS) policies, procedures and risk controls
Responsible for the administration of Flight Operations Safety data and reports including intake/triage support, tracking, analysis, and recordkeeping
Monitors and reports on the implementation of strategies, initiatives and best practices
Conducts risk assessments of potential operational hazards
Analyzes data from events, self-assessments, inspections and audits to identify trends and recommend corrective actions

Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Safety, Aeronautical Science, Aviation Management, or another related field; OR a demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and four (4) years of relevant work experience
One (1) year data analysis experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Ability to handle sensitive/confidential safety information with discretion
Able to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet team deadlines
Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
