About the role
- Provide legal advice and strategic guidance to multiple JetBlue departments
- Structure, manage, and execute debt and equity transactions
- Provide substantive legal support to the Treasury team on revolving and term loan credit agreements
- Lead and execute fleet-related transactions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align legal advice with business strategy and operational needs
- Play a significant role in the development, engagement, and growth of crewmembers
Requirements
- Law degree and admission to the Bar of a state or jurisdiction of the United States
- Five (5) or more years’ experience with a major law firm and/or in-house legal position, with related work experience
- Experience with managing a full project or initiative
- Extensive experience in drafting and negotiating agreements and execution of large and small scale transactions
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, and organizational skills
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work well under limited supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Available for moderate overnight travel (10%)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
