About the role

  • Coordinate employment-based immigration cases, including nonimmigrant visas and permanent residency filings, in partnership with external Immigration Counsel.
  • Track visa expirations, extensions, amendments, and changes in employment status.
  • Coordinate case documentation and communications with external immigration counsel.
  • Assist with responses to government requests, audits, and inquiries related to immigration matters.
  • Assist with maintaining compliance with US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Department of Labor (DOL), and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requirements.
  • Provide administrative support for Talent Acquisition and onboarding activities related to immigration.
  • Attend new hire orientations as needed to support onboarding processes.
  • Assist with internal compliance audits and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and recommend procedural improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Legal Studies or a relevant field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
  • One (1) year of administrative experience
  • Working knowledge of U.S. immigration laws and policies
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy
  • Ability to be flexible, multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Strong team player with the ability to take initiative and work well independently
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive, confidential information.
  • Effective written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (20%)
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
