About the role
- Shape how the world sees Jerry through PR and content strategy
- Not a typical PR role—build media and content strategy from the ground up
- Execute strategic media outreach and day-to-day PR operations across consumer, tech, business, and trade outlets
- Contribute to SEO and AEO strategies and experiment with AI-assisted workflows to drive organic growth
- Monitor app reviews and community feedback; respond to comments and surface insights for product and engineering
- Learn and grow at the intersection of AI, SEO, and media; early-career role with evolving responsibilities
- Fully remote role with options to work onsite in Palo Alto, Toronto, and New York
Requirements
- Resourceful & Proactive: fast, curious, and solution-oriented
- Agile: thrive in fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities
- Determined: persistent, resilient, adaptable when facing setbacks
- Comfortable with change and ambiguity; self-starter who lives and breathes the news cycle
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in journalism, communications, PR, or related field
- Bonus: experience in a newsroom, PR agency, or startup environment
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada (application question)
